Personalisation needed before you buy: Baby's photo (JPG or PNG, at least 1439 pixels on its shorter side); Baby's name (up to 20 characters). Optional: Date of birth (up to 40 characters). Enter these in the boxes on the product page. They are printed as spelt, and some designs set a line in capital letters.

The newborn photo, printed on paper that will still be good when they are twenty. Upload the picture, add the baby's name and their date of birth, and we print it on 220gsm matte fine-art paper with a wide printed cream border, the name in serif beneath and the date in terracotta small capitals. It comes in 12 x 16 in (30.5 x 40.6 cm) or 8 x 12 in (20.3 x 30.5 cm), supplied unframed, for the nursery now and a hallway later. Photos taken near a window in daylight print best; the hospital ones under strip lighting can come out yellow. It makes a new-baby gift from grandparents, or a print for the parents themselves once the first weeks have passed and they can find the good photo.   • Personalised items are made just for you, so they cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  • If your keepsake arrives damaged or misprinted, keep the box and email a photo to hello@keptbyyou.co.uk within 30 days of delivery where you can. We reprint it free, or refund you in full if you prefer. If you no longer have the box, still get in touch. A fault that appears within six months of delivery is assumed to have been there when it arrived.
  • Orders go to our printer within about 10 minutes, so please check every detail before you order.
